went here a couple weekends ago to stock up on some tillandsia. i spend more money on plants then i do on clothes..

i saw the new spock, zachary quinto a couple days ago at the cha cha lounge, which was random. he made a pretty good spock but he'll never trump leonard nemoy.. what a pimp (see below).

woolly pockets.

a friend turned me onto woolly pockets which i think are the greatest invention ever made. they're flexible, breathable, and modular gardening containers. there are two styles... one can be hung on the wall and the other is for flat surfaces. they're ok to use indoors and out as they don't drain the water (unless you water them too much) and they're also nice because they don't scratch up your floors or wall like a regular pot might do. and most importantly they are made up of recyclable materials so they're eco-friendly. i love their cheeky marketing.. reminds me of old adverts from the 70's. i'm getting the wee woolly to put in my living room since i don't have any outdoor gardening space.
